Sorata Kanda is the male protagonist of the romantic comedy anime series, The Pet Girl of Sakurasou. This laid-back and kind-hearted boy finds himself entangled in a web of quirky relationships and misadventures when he is forced to move into the notorious Sakurasou dormitory, a residence for problem students. As he navigates his new life, Sorata discovers his hidden talent for helping others, particularly the talented but eccentric Mashiro Shiina, and learns valuable lessons about friendship, love, and finding one's purpose.
