Denji is a powerful and enigmatic protagonist in the dark fantasy anime series Chainsaw Man. He is a young man with a tragic past, who is forced to work as a devil hunter to pay off his late father's debt. Denji's life takes a drastic turn when he merges with his pet chainsaw dog, Pochita, and becomes the powerful Chainsaw Man, granting him the ability to transform parts of his body into chainsaws. With his newfound powers, Denji joins the Public Safety Devil Extermination Division to fight against devils and other supernatural threats, all while navigating the dark and treacherous world of devil hunting.
